CLARIFICATION: Referring to Normative Act No. 1, dated 3.4.2026 "For an addition to Law No. 61/2012, 'On Excise Duties in the Republic of Albania,' as amended," which stipulates that if the retail selling price for gasoil exceeds 220 lek/liter, or for gasoline exceeds 200 lek/liter, the 80% excise duty level applies. Based on the application of the methodology for calculating the ceiling prices for retail sales, the prices are below the threshold of Normative Act No. 1, dated 3.4.2026, and therefore the full excise duty level of 100% will be applied.
