The Transparency Board held its regular meeting this Friday, where it set new prices for the sale of petroleum by-products in the country.

According to the decision, the retail selling price of diesel must not exceed 224 lek/liter, while the wholesale price must not exceed 212 lek/liter. This change comes into effect following the implementation of the Normative Act approved today, which reduced the excise level by 20%, reflecting a decrease of 9.5 lek/liter including VAT.

Meanwhile, for gasoline, the Board has decided that the retail selling price must not exceed 181 lek/liter, while the wholesale price must not exceed 169 lek/liter.

The Transparency Board, on April 3, 2026, in its regular meeting decided: โœ…The retail selling price of the diesel by-product of the SSH EN 590 standard must not exceed 224 lek/liter, while the wholesale price must not exceed 212 lek/liter.
