Miri recounted this evening his beginnings in the Albanian music scene, the creation of West Side Family, and the untimely loss of Dr. Flori. Miri expressed that the push to open the door to his music career was Flori when they were teenagers. He said everything started with a tape recorder and a cassette, something that later turned into the group well-known to the Albanian public, West Side Family. Furthermore, the resident shared the moment he learned of Dr. Flori's loss, which according to him was one of the darkest days of his life. "I grew up like every child of that time with economic difficulties. My adolescence passed at the Petronini Luarasi high school, where I met two people who changed my life, Landi and Dr. Flori. We had a tape recorder and a cassette and we sang. Flori was the one who sang and wrote the lyrics. One day Flori takes me to his house and tells me he wants to show me something. The song that opened the door to my career was Tik Tak. The first song we recorded was this one and it cost 30,000 old lek. Then the story continues with Landi, since he also sang and we liked his voice, I told Flori why not ask Landi to join us and be two hip-hop artists and one singer. We asked him, he agreed, and we tried it with two other songs. We decided to be a group named West Side Family. Family because it's the key word for the three of us to be together forever. We participated in the magic song with the message song. I was in Germany when I found out about Flori's loss, November 17th. The first person I called was Landi, he answered the phone and told me that unfortunately it was true. It was one of the darkest days. Flori is a source of inspiration for generations, and one reason for the restart of West Side Family has been his brother, Alban Kondi. Alban told us to turn the pain into strength, we never thought that Flori isn't with us, but he is with us and within us," expressed Miri. "I always think when he appears in my dreams, I have him as a push, as a friend in my heart all my life. I would ask God why you took Flori into your arms so quickly because we still needed him. His loss has made us stronger for the future challenges in our lives," expressed Miri after his recount.
