The preliminary hearing for the case of Arben Ahmetaj and 10 other defendants, a judicial process concerning the Elbasan incinerator, was postponed this Thursday (April 9) in the Special Court.
Judge Erion Çela, who was appointed as the preliminary hearing judge, transferred the matter to Rudina Palloj, as she was the judge who had previously examined the main case of the Elbasan incinerator.
SPAK accuses former Deputy Prime Minister Ahmetaj, who has been at large since summer 2023, of passive corruption in 9 instances, money laundering in 5 instances through collaboration, and concealment or non-declaration of assets in 15 instances.
