From there, Ilir Meta has leveled accusations against the Special Prosecutor's Office, claiming it deliberately deceived in the letter of request sent to American authorities in March 2025, where according to him, SPAK presents as fact that the head of the PL used a bank card. Dear citizens, every letter of request sent by SPAK prosecutors to the USA has had only one purpose: the manipulation and misuse of American authorities against Ilir Meta. No letter of request has been sent in respect of the legal contract GSIS-LSI, registered in the USA and Albania. The aim has been to create confusion, but not to prove the alleged guilt of Ilir Meta because prosecutors were convinced from the start that everything was Fraud, as also resulted with the McKeon Group. As if they were to say, help us because we suspect that Ilir Meta may have used American bank cards, we accept that as logic, because suspicion is always acceptable. By publishing today this letter of request dated March 11, 2025, I assure all Albanian citizens and American and European partners that never in my life have I not only not used an American or European bank card, but not even an Albanian bank card. Secondly, I have never had knowledge that a collaborator of mine, former relative of mine, or person close to me has used any such bank card. I have never been in any place where these bank cards that prosecutors claim could have been used. In the future, you will see other such absurdities, because we have told you from the beginning that the standards of abduction are identical to the very standards of investigation, the standards of judgment, and my pre-trial detention.
