Naim Murseli has been sentenced to life imprisonment by the Prishtina Court for the murder of his wife, Liridona Ademaj. After the session concluded, her brother gave a statement to the media, emotionally expressing that this decision somewhat eased his and the other family members' pain. "Today is what we have said from the beginning. Naim and Kushtrim organized this crime. This decision is not just for us, but for Liridona and her children who will never see their mother again. Regarding Kushtrim Kukolla, the lawyer can speak about what punishment we expected for him. Today's decision has somewhat eased our pain; it was awaited by the entire Albanian people and not just the family," he stated. The Basic Court in Prishtina today sentenced Naim Murseli and Granit Plava to life imprisonment, while Kushtrim Kokalla to 30 years in prison, for the murder of Liridona Ademaj on November 29, 2023.
