In the evening protest by the opposition, which was accompanied by tensions, 4 protesters were injured as a result of clashes with the police, while 5 police officers were wounded from the police ranks. The injured have been hospitalized at QSUT since last night, with injuries to parts of their bodies. One of the wounded is also the PD activist, Aulon Kalaja, who was visited last night by the chairman of PD, Sali Berisha. Meanwhile, the Minister of Internal Affairs, Besfort Lamallari, together with the State Police Director, Skënder Hita, closely visited the 5 police officers injured in the protest. Tensions between the police and protesters began immediately after the speeches at the podium ended, with protesters throwing fireworks and Molotov cocktails towards the Prime Minister's Office, which was met with immediate police intervention. Democratic MPs Luçiano Boçi and Klevis Balliu were injured by tear gas and were transported to the hospital, as were several protesters affected by tear gas. One police officer was also injured due to a capsule that exploded on his body. The police detained 22 people, while 4 bags of Molotov cocktails were seized.
