The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, stated that Prime Minister Rama blocked justice through an unconstitutional act to save himself. During his speech at a meeting with party structures in Tirana, Berisha expressed that the country is in an unprecedented situation, adding that Rama brutally obstructed the functioning of the justice system. Berisha said Rama took this action despite repeated warnings from key international partners in the European integration process. According to him, the Balluku file is the Rama file.

Sali Berisha: Good evening and greetings to you and all the members of the Democratic Party in Tirana, our supporters, members of the Youth Forum, and members of the LDGSH. We called this meeting because in an extraordinary situation, we must respond with extraordinary readiness and measures. The country is in an unprecedented situation. Edi Rama has removed every mask to protect his own skin before Albanians and the entire world. Through an unconstitutional act, he brutally blocked the operation of the justice system. Edi Rama used his 83 criminal mandates to seize the keys to that branch of power without which there is no separation of powers. Without it, power is entirely in the hands of one man. Edi Rama took this action even after strong protests from the opposition. Edi Rama took this action despite repeated warnings from key international partners in the European integration process, as well as other partners. He took an extreme step because he understood, he realized that the Balluku file was the Rama file. And people connected to crime, dictators of all kinds and colors, are always capable of making any decision to save their own skin. So, this is a decision made to save his skin. Rightfully, Albanians ask, how is it possible for such an act to be undertaken by parliament? I tell Albanian citizens, regardless of political beliefs, that Albania today is led by a criminal gang, the most dangerous it has ever had.
