A police officer has been dismissed for serious disciplinary breaches after taking a topless selfie of her chest during work hours. Police officer Alisha Staves, 31, secretly entered an office storage room inside a police station, where she took a topless photo while wearing a police jacket. The incident was considered a serious violation of professional rules and led to her removal from duty.

She then sent the photo to her partner, accompanied by the message: "Maybe the police lady can give you a helping hand."

In a second selfie, taken at home, she posed half-naked, partially exposing her chest, while wearing a police bulletproof vest. Staves, who worked in the firearms licensing department for Humberside Police, also sent this image to her partner with the message: "Work boob." The photos, taken in 2023, were discovered two years later on her personal phone during an electronic device check as part of another, unrelated investigation.
