A serious incident occurred last night in Maliq, where 55-year-old teacher Alban Bejleri passed away due to a heart attack. His family describes him as a dedicated and exceptional man. His uncle, Besim Bejleri, expressed: "From our relatives, we are 17 teachers, but he was special, a man of few words, hardworking, and faithful. He was a contributor to children." He also added: "He was not at work at the time; when they reinstated him, they sent him to the Maliq area, to a remote zone. He had requested to be placed in Devoll, but instead, they brought him here now." In his message, he also made a public appeal: "I call on all politicians, from all sides, that sick individuals should be close to their families. He died on the road and left a great legacy." According to him, the teacher traveled several kilometers every day to teach: "He never complained, covering about 7 km to go to and return from school. He went only for two students." Meanwhile, the victim's cousin, Muhamer Meka, shared: "He was a good man, a decent guy. He had been a teacher for 30 years. He previously worked in Bilisht and then was transferred to Marjan. He had two children and suffered from diabetes." Another friend of his, Myfti Staro, stated: "He was transferred for political reasons. He had many years in education. He walked about 8 km; he would leave his car and continue on foot toward the village."
