Actor Ben Affleck is reportedly set to transfer his share of a luxury Beverly Hills residence to his ex-wife, Jennifer Lopez, without any financial compensation, according to recent media reports.
The decision follows an amendment to the former couple's property settlement agreement, which includes a clause for "interspousal property transfer." Sources close to them indicate that Affleck has chosen to transfer his entire share to the Latin singer and actress.
The couple purchased the sprawling estate in June 2023 for approximately $60.85 million, at the height of their relationship. The roughly 35,000-square-foot property features 12 bedrooms, 24 bathrooms, and even a basketball court, considered one of the most luxurious villas in the area.
Their divorce was finalized in January 2025, while the fate of the residence remained uncertain for some time. Last summer, both decided to withdraw the property from the market in a joint business decision after failing to secure a satisfactory offer.
Real estate experts highlighted that the market for properties of this value is challenging, making it reasonable to pause the sale until conditions improve.
With the latest development, it appears the residence will now be fully owned by Lopez, who recently expressed feeling "free" and in a new phase of her life, two years after separating from Affleck.
