A widespread anti-drug operation has shaken public opinion in Turkey, as some of the most prominent figures in the country's artistic and television scene have been targeted by authorities. The action was carried out on Thursday morning as part of an investigation led by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office (Anadolu), in collaboration with the Anti-Narcotics Directorate. The investigation relates to criminal acts of "purchasing, receiving, or possessing narcotic substances for use" as well as "their use."

According to the official announcement, a total of 14 arrest warrants have been issued against individuals known to the public. During the operation, 11 people were arrested, 2 individuals were not found at their addresses and have been declared wanted, and 1 person has been confirmed to be abroad.

Among those involved in this case are many well-known names from the entertainment industry. Among them, actor Burak Deniz and rapper Ender EroฤŸlu (Norm Ender) have attracted the most media attention.
