Endri Ngresi, the former official of the Fier Cadastre, was sentenced to 3 years in prison for the criminal offense "Passive corruption of persons exercising public functions" in July 2024 by GJKKO. After serving part of the sentence, he requested conditional release from the Court, which granted his request. However, SPAK appealed this early release to the Court of Appeals. The latter decided to return him to prison to serve the remaining part of the sentence. The former official of the Fier Cadastre (ASHK) and two citizens accused of giving a bribe of 2,000 euros for a housing legalization were sentenced to a total of 4 years in prison in July 2024. Ardjan Kumaraku, the citizen who gave the bribe, was sentenced to 1 year in prison, while Afรซrdita Vidhi was not given a sentence. The former official was also banned from any public function for the next 5 years.
