An accident was recorded this afternoon at the entrance of the city of Durrës, where a vehicle ended up in a canal. According to preliminary information, the driver of the vehicle, a citizen with the initials Xh. K., around 24 years old, was injured and was urgently transported to the hospital, where she is under the care of doctors. It is suspected that the vehicle, which was coming from the Tirana–Durrës highway, was at high speed. Initially, the vehicle collided with a pole and then, as a result of the collision and speed, ended up in the high-water canal. Around 17:15, at the location called "Dajlan Bridge," the vehicle driven by citizen Xh. K., around 24 years old, is suspected to have lost control, causing the vehicle to leave the road and fall into the canal. As a result, the 24-year-old is in the hospital receiving medical assistance, out of life-threatening danger. The investigative team at the scene is working to clarify the circumstances of the accident.
