A serious incident occurred in Denmark, where two trains collided, leaving many injured. The event is reported to have happened near the city of Hillerod, north of Copenhagen, with two local trains crashing "head-on" under circumstances that are still unclear.
According to Danish media, a total of 17 people are reported to have been injured, with four of them in critical condition. All the injured have been transported from the scene by ambulances and helicopters.
Earlier, a spokesperson for the fire service had confirmed the presence of injuries among the passengers, without providing details on the number or their condition. They added that all passengers have been evacuated from the trains and there are no trapped individuals.
