A tragic accident in Italy has claimed the life of a 62-year-old woman of Albanian origin. The incident occurred overnight near Ancona Nord, inside the Montedomini tunnel, on the stretch between the Ancona Sud and Ancona Nord exits. The victim, Merita Qemali, passed away shortly after arriving at the emergency room of Torrette hospital due to severe injuries sustained in the crash. In the "Ford Focus" vehicle in which the victim was traveling, there were three other people: her 49-year-old husband, her 47-year-old sister, and a 10-year-old child. The condition of the 62-year-old woman was critical from the scene, and despite immediate transport to the hospital, she did not survive. The three other individuals were taken to the hospital for medical treatment. The 49-year-old is in serious condition after a surgical intervention, while the victim's sister has been operated on and is being kept under intensive care. The 10-year-old child sustained minor injuries and is not in life-threatening danger. Italian authorities have launched an investigation to fully clarify the causes and circumstances of the accident.
