U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris has left open the possibility of running for president again in the 2028 election.

During an event organized by the National Action Network in New York, Harris expressed that she is considering this possibility, stating, "Maybe, maybe. I'm thinking about it," a remark that was met with cheers from the audience.

Harris served as vice president during Joe Biden's term but was defeated in the 2024 presidential election by Donald Trump, who secured both the popular vote and the Electoral College.

Prior to this role, she has held significant positions in American politics, including as a senator and as Attorney General of California. Harris had previously attempted to secure the Democratic nomination in the 2020 election but was unsuccessful.
