The head of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, participated today in the memorial ceremony of the 35th anniversary, honoring the four martyrs killed on April 2, 1991, in the last massacre of communism in Albania. Berisha stated that April 2 began as a revolt against the electoral farce and that the martyrs honored free voting and freedom. After speaking about the martyrs of April 2, Berisha called on the people of Shkodra to rise in protest against Edi Rama and his government. "After Enver Hoxha, Rama is the greatest enemy of Albanians. The battle against the thieves in power is the holiest battle of Albanians. I invite the citizens of Shkodra, all of Albania, to continue our peaceful uprising until their final overthrow," said Berisha.
