Approximately 11 protesters were arrested last night during the PD protest, while 22 others were detained. It is reported that the detentions occurred at the moment when protesters threw fireworks towards the Prime Minister's Office building, following the conclusion of the speech by PD leader Sali Berisha. The opposition returned to the old scenario in the seventh national protest, but with a new plan from the police. Immediately after Sali Berisha finished his speech, an attack with Molotov cocktails and fireworks began in front of the Prime Minister's Office. Berisha's message was clear towards Rama. The police response was immediate. Officers clashed with opposition MPs, who were standing on the front line, as well as with supporters present in the square. Large quantities of water, tear gas, and pepper spray were used against the protesters, with several of them injured, including MPs. Aulon Kalaja, Luรงiano Boรงi, and a citizen were taken by ambulance due to health issues from the gas and spray. The gas dispersed from the Prime Minister's Office, but the crowd began marching towards Parliament. The next clash occurred at the Namazgjah Mosque, where officers blocked protesters from heading to Parliament, again using water and tear gas. Other opposition MPs, who attempted to break through the police cordon, were also injured. Klevis Balliu was urgently sent to the hospital. MP Flamur Noka also appeared with facial injuries, having attacked police commanders. Sali Berisha stayed away from the battle. He followed the clash from the blue headquarters. He condemned the attacks but warned of continued action, without giving a date. In the emergency, a police officer was also injured in the clashes, while several protesters were detained at the police station.
