In response to these comments, Ilija Cvitanović, president of HDZ 1990 and delegate in the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH, reacted in a statement for the Klix.ba portal.

"Croatia nor Croats in Bosnia and Herzegovina have never been part of any alliance against anyone, but have always been in an alliance with everyone when it comes to the defense of the Republic of Croatia and the Croatian people in Bosnia and Herzegovina," said Cvitanović for our portal.

He also spoke about military operations during the aggression against Bosnia and Herzegovina and the war in Croatia.

"Let us remember the Homeland War, the victorious operations Flash and Storm, as well as the role of the Croatian Defense Council and the preservation of Croatian positions in Bosnia and Herzegovina," added Cvitanović.

At the end, he also indirectly referred to Dodik and his statements.

"It is obvious that some are still burdened and traumatized by events from the past, so it remains unclear what their real aspirations, intentions and goals are. Therefore, I conclude: Croats do not form alliances against anyone, but build alliances with everyone to protect the Republic of Croatia and the Croatian people in Bosnia and Herzegovina," said Ilija Cvitanović for Klix.ba.

Recall, Dodik stated in Belgrade that "in the Republic of Srpska, we are very concerned about the fact that Croatia, Albania and so-called Kosovo have formed a certain alliance," and that "the Croatian component in BiH" is oriented towards that.

"We appreciate that this is an alliance against the Serbian people as a whole, that it is a directed alliance and that the RS is essentially threatened by such an alliance. Considering that we estimate that the Croatian component in Bosnia and Herzegovina is certainly oriented towards such orientations, and of course it can be guaranteed that this is also the Bosniak component. So that alliance absolutely must be under the attention of all of us in the RS, of course also here in Serbia," said Dodik.
