"Citizens are receiving messages falsely claiming the existence of traffic fines, urgent payment deadlines, legal consequences, and alleged debtor registries, along with suspicious internet links that have no connection to the official systems of Bosnia and Herzegovina's institutions," the IDDEEA stated.
They particularly emphasized that the domain iddeea.govba.one is not the official domain of IDDEEA BiH or any institution of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
"The official internet domain of IDDEEA BiH is: www.iddeea.gov.ba. We urge citizens not to open suspicious links, enter personal data, bank card information, usernames, passwords, or vehicle registration plates on unverified websites," the statement added.
IDDEEA BiH has already initiated activities with relevant institutions and international partners to identify those responsible, report the abuse, and urgently shut down the disputed content.
"If anyone has already accessed the mentioned website or entered data, we advise them to immediately contact their bank, change their access passwords, and report the case to the relevant authorities," the statement concluded.
