The Security Service of Ukraine announced that its special "Alpha" units carried out a special operation overnight at the naval base of the Black Sea Fleet in Sevastopol and at the Belbek military airfield in temporarily occupied Crimea.
According to the service, the attack was conducted using combat drones, targeting the Russian Navy's large landing ships "Yamal" and "Filchenkov," the reconnaissance ship "Ivan Khurs," as well as the Black Sea Fleet training center "Lukomka."
Air defense facilities were also struck, including the headquarters of the radio-technical reconnaissance of the air defense forces and the MR-10M1 Mis-M1 radar system. At the Belbek airfield, a MiG-31 aircraft and the technical service responsible for its maintenance were hit.
Acting head of the SSU, Yevheniy Hmara, stated that such operations are aimed at systematically destroying key elements of Russian military infrastructure.
"We are methodically destroying key elements of the enemy's military infrastructure—the fleet, aviation, intelligence, and air defense," he said, adding that these attacks will continue until Russia ceases its aggression against Ukraine.
Earlier, on April 25 and during the night of April 26, Ukrainian forces also struck an oil refinery in the Russian city of Yaroslavl and air defense systems in temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.
