They made a tiramisu over 440.58 meters long, breaking the 2019 record set by Milanese Galbani in Milan, which stood at 273.5 meters. Over two days, using only fresh ingredients, chefs worked hard to prepare this Italian dessert. A total of 19,000 eggs, 400 kilograms of sugar, and 128,000 ladyfingers were used to make the tiramisu, which took about five hours to assemble. The city hall received the news of the record-breaking with enthusiasm, and chefs and spectators celebrated to the Italian anthem before the dessert was distributed to those present. One of the top chefs at the event in London was Carmelo Carnevale, who said the tiramisu had to be at least 8 cm high and 15 cm wide to break the record. He was so proud to show off some of the pieces the chefs had made. When asked what truly makes a good tiramisu, Carnevale's answer was: "Very good coffee, a nice and firm cream, and also a lot of passion." According to the rules of the Guinness World Records, the tiramisu is made and assembled live on site, using an incredible 50,000 ladyfingers and more than 3,000 eggs.
