With a minimal victory, the team solidified their third place on the table and reached the point where, in the remaining five rounds of the WWin League of Bosnia and Herzegovina, they need just one point to mathematically secure a spot in European competitions.
However, Cvitanović was not entirely satisfied, revealing that the duels were what he was most unhappy with after today's match.
"It was a complicated game. They were dangerous, and we had to be more concrete. They have three extremely fast players going forward, so we knew where the danger lay. We had that stability except for one situation in the first half. In the second half, we weren't patient, and we needed to hold onto the ball a bit better. What I'm not satisfied with is the duels. We lost a lot of balls, and then we started to go wild and attack unsynchronized," said the Croatian expert.
Cvitanović added that he again used a large number of young players and that it was normal for them to have fluctuations in their game.
"Still, I say, today we played with five players under 21, and this is their third match in seven days. I said there would be fluctuations, and I have to be happy with the result. This win definitely means a lot to us, the second away win in a row, and now Borac awaits us to see where we stand in those matches as well," he added.
The most interesting question in the interview with the match broadcaster MY TV came at the end, concerning the growing speculation about departures from the team, as well as unverified claims that some players want to leave Koševo.
"I won't comment on that, and the best answer is that we have won 16 points in six matches. That's the best answer on the field about what's happening, and everything else is in the realm of journalistic speculation. The team needs to stay focused on the field," Cvitanović concluded.
In the next round, Sarajevo hosts Borac, while Posušje will visit Rudar in Prijedor in a direct duel for survival.
