Although born in Cologne, Germany, the talented offensive player has never hidden his strong connection to his homeland and Bugojno, the town of his origin. His brilliant performances in the Dragons' jersey and his immense contribution to the historic qualification for the World Cup sparked an eruption of enthusiasm across the country, especially in his family's hometown. To repay him and provide maximum support before his departure for the world's biggest football spectacle, Bugojno decided to erect a large billboard featuring his image. Photos from the portal Bugojno Danas show the billboard stretching across the entire side facade of a residential building, with Alajbegović prominently depicted in the recognizable national team jersey with the number 19, in moments of great celebration. The visual is complemented by a stylized map of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the background, as well as the prestigious golden trophy intended for the World Cup winner. The top of the building is adorned with a clear sign reading "Pride of Bugojno," while the bottom features a clever slogan: "World-class (and ours) goes to the World Cup." As a reminder, the Dragons will open the World Cup on June 12 with a match in Toronto against Canada.
