Most guests then left the hall where the event was taking place, but the man seen in the footage appeared unfazed by the post-shooting drama. He sat calmly while others hid under tables, eating his meal undisturbed. Shortly after being posted, the video garnered nearly five million views on X. "My man," wrote the user who shared the clip of the currently unnamed man. The White House Correspondents' Dinner is traditionally held at the Washington Hilton, which has previously been the site of security incidents, including an assassination attempt on President Ronald Reagan in 1981.
