White was sitting in the front row, directly in front of the main table where U.S. President Donald Trump was seated, when the attacker attempted to enter the building, causing the president to be urgently escorted off the stage amid chaos, reports MMAWeekly.com.

After the incident, White shared his perspective with USA TODAY. "Suddenly, there was noise," he said, continuing: "Tables were tipping over, armed people rushed in shouting, 'Get down.' I didn't lie down. It was fucking awesome. I was literally soaking in every minute, and it was pretty crazy, a unique experience."

"We were sitting right in front of the table, directly in front of where the president was. No one was knocked down, but people were coming in looking for the attackers and heading toward our table. I thought the attacker was near us or something."

For context, the White House Correspondents' Dinner is traditionally held at the Washington Hilton hotel, which has previously been the site of security incidents, including an assassination attempt on President Ronald Reagan in 1981.
