Over three days, the festival brought together guests from over 60 countries, more than 100 speakers, professional eSports teams, universities, and representatives of technology companies, with the main program taking place at the Bar Cultural Center.
One of the key messages was the importance of connecting different sectors.
Professor Stevo Popović stated that "the future is not built in isolation, but through collaboration and the exchange of ideas and knowledge," emphasizing a multisectoral approach as the foundation of development.
Said Šaraf also highlighted the significance of eSports as a global phenomenon, noting that "players are defined by their skills, not their origin," and that eSports connects people and erases borders.
President of the Bar Municipal Assembly, Branislav Nenezić, emphasized that this city was among the first to recognize the potential of eSports, while Dušan Simonović pointed out that the festival represents a new level of fusion between sports, technology, and innovation. Additionally, as a substitute for a competitor from the eSports association, he took annual leave from work to attend.
"In the end, about ten days later, they called me from our eSports association and said I was going to Montenegro as the first substitute. I said okay, like Goran Ivanišević with a wildcard at Wimbledon who went on to win. In the end, I also won the tournament, and it turned into a really nice story," said Matić.
During the festival, the "PASTECH Conference" was also held, along with numerous activities such as the "European Gaming Summit," international eSports tournaments, the "eFootball World Cup," and gaming and tech expo zones.
The competition's prize fund exceeded 10,000 euros.
The festival gathered more than 500 international guests and over 5,000 visitors, while part of the program was also available via online streaming.
Today, the final matches of the gaming tournaments are still taking place, and it is certain that this festival will continue to be a leader in what it does in the years to come, not only in Montenegro but across the entire region.
The organizers stated that this year's edition further solidified the festival's position as one of the most important events in the region, combining technology, sports, and innovation.
