Photographs published on the Telegram channel of Iran's top diplomat show a meeting at a table, with official delegations from Moscow and Tehran in attendance. Alongside Putin were Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, Kremlin advisor Yuri Ushakov, and Igor Kostyukov.

According to Russia's state news agency TASS, Putin stated during the meeting that the Iranian people are bravely fighting for their sovereignty, expressing hope that Iran will overcome current challenges and achieve peace.

The same agency reported that he also emphasized that Russia will "do everything to bring peace to the Middle East as soon as possible."

On the other hand, Araghchi, in a statement broadcast on Russian state television, described Moscow-Tehran relations as a "strategic partnership" that will continue to strengthen.

The Iranian delegation also includes Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi and Iran's Ambassador to Moscow Kazem Jalali.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated that Russia is ready to offer "goodwill or mediation services acceptable to both sides" in future negotiations to resolve issues related to Iran.

"We will be prepared to do everything so that peace, guaranteed peace, ultimately prevails and there is no return to hostilities," Peskov said.
