According to eyewitness accounts, Grealish arrived at the famous "Stories" bar in Manchester around 4:30 PM on Saturday, but just an hour later, he was already fast asleep. Photos show the forward slumped over a table surrounded by glasses and bottles of cocktails.
"Friends tried to wake him up," said one guest present at the scene. "The alcohol clearly got the better of him quickly," they added.
This incident comes at an extremely bad time for the 30-year-old. Grealish, currently on loan at Everton, is recovering from a serious foot operation. Due to the rehabilitation process, he will miss the remainder of the club season, and what's even more painful for the English forward is the fact that he has definitively dropped out of contention for the England national team squad for the upcoming World Cup.

In early March, Grealish shared photos on his Instagram profile using a special knee scooter and wearing a protective boot, assuring fans that he was "working hard to come back better and stronger than ever."
However, promises of hard work quickly fell through. By late March, Grealish had returned to his signature lifestyle when he joined national teammate Jordan Pickford on a luxury trip to Rome to celebrate the 30th birthday of Pickford's wife, Megan.
The Englishman has carried the label of the resident "party boy" for years. His long history of nightlife escapades includes a December celebration where he spent an incredible ยฃ20,000 treating friends, which ultimately culminated in a London strip club.
The latest photos of a sleeping Grealish in the middle of the day are just another addition to his long list of off-field incidents, as Everton and England fans await his actual return to the pitch.
