Jokić lost his composure at the very end of the game when Minnesota player Jaden McDaniels scored a layup with 1.3 seconds left, with the result already decided and as other players were greeting each other at the opposite end of the court. This angered Jokić, who ran the full length of the court to confront the Wolves' forward near his bench, leading to an escalation of the altercation. Both teams joined the scuffle, with Jokić and home star Julius Randle appearing to be the most heated, resulting in their ejections. Fortunately for Denver, Jokić was not suspended and will be able to help the team in Game 5. Jokić only received a fine and will have to pay the NBA league $50,000. Randle was also fined $35,000. Currently, Minnesota leads the series 3-1 and is one win away from advancing to the second round.
