Popular Vultures began chanting the name of a war criminal at the end of the first half, joined by some spectators from other stands. The song "General, thanks to your mother" could also be heard at the stadium, continuing a pattern of similar incidents from the past. Although officials initially did not react to the events in the stands, Sloga midfielder Dino Hasanović decided to take matters into his own hands. As confirmed for Klix.ba and visible in the TV broadcast, Hasanović approached the main referee Danijel Perić from Bijeljina and Borac players, suggesting the match be stopped, and then headed to match delegate Dragomir Đajić (East Ilidža). His brave move sparked outrage among home fans, who "rewarded" him with curses and insults. After Hasanović's intervention, the stadium announcer appealed to the audience for fair and proper cheering. It remains to be seen whether Đajić recorded this incident in the official match report and how the Disciplinary Commission of the Football Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina will respond to the scandalous chanting that has already become a common sight at the City Stadium in Banja Luka.

Borac fans glorified a war criminal, Sloga player demanded match stoppage.
The match between Borac and Doboj's Sloga (3:1) was overshadowed by the shameful behavior of the Banja Luka club's fans, who, for who knows how many times, chanted in support of convicted war criminal Ratko Mladić, prompting a reaction from visiting player Dino Hasanović.
