Whisk the egg yolks with sugar and vanilla sugar until frothy. Then, cook the mixture over steam for a few minutes. It won't thicken immediately, but once you let it cool, it will essentially set.

In another bowl, whisk the mascarpone, then add the cooled egg yolk mixture. Separately, whip the heavy cream, then add it to this mixture and whisk well.

Next, prepare the syrup for dipping the ladyfingers. In a bowl, combine sliced strawberries, the juice of one lemon, sugar, and water, then blend with an immersion blender. After that, briefly heat the syrup.

Dip the ladyfingers into the syrup and arrange them in a baking dish, then add a layer of cream and finely chopped strawberries. Repeat the process until all ingredients are used. The dessert needs to be thoroughly chilled before serving. Optionally, you can decorate it with whipped cream or dust it with cocoa, as in the traditional recipe.
