The race started at 11 a.m. near the Ars Aevi Bridge, with children participating in several categories. Children aged six to eight competed in the 400-meter race, those aged nine to 11 in the 600-meter race, and children aged 12 to 14 in the 800-meter race. According to the organizers, around 370 children took part this time. In a cheerful and competitive spirit, Wilson's Promenade was filled with children racing against each other. This race highlighted the importance of health, sportsmanship, and enjoyment. As a reminder, several more races will be held in Sarajevo and East Sarajevo as part of the 7th Sarajevo Marathon. Organizers stated that a total of around 2,600 competitors from 47 countries are expected, setting a new record in terms of the number of participants and the number of countries represented.
