It started quietly, without much excitement, with play centered in the midfield. The first big chance came in the 18th minute for the home side. Odinaka broke through on the right flank and crossed, Karić cleared it short, but it landed right on Šabić's head, who, unfortunately for him, hit only the crossbar.

The "Rođeni" responded just a minute later, when Salčin took a good shot from an excellent position, but Muftić made the save.

A calm period followed, and the next big chance came for Velež players in the 25th minute, when Spahić, after freeing himself from Bičakčić, shot from about 20 meters, but only hit the crossbar.

The score remained unchanged until the end of the first half, so the teams went to the break with a 0:0 draw.

In the second half, we witnessed even poorer football, with serious chances for both teams countable on one hand.

The only thing worth mentioning happened in the 79th minute, when after a long buildup, Krpić scored a goal, but it was rightfully disallowed for offside.

The match ended 0:0. After this draw, Velež remained in fourth place with 44 points, while Željezničar is fifth with six points fewer.

In the next round, Željo will visit Zrinjski, while Velež will host Radnik.
