AC Milan midfielder came off worse in last night's derby against Juventus (0:0) near the end of the match when he collided heads with the Old Lady's captain, Manuel Locatelli. Locatelli was unharmed, but Modrić suffered a serious blow. The Croatian staggered and fell, and soon had to be substituted. Luka Modrić didn't look well after the game, having taken a head knock... Kenan Yildiz spoke with him, while Locatelli hugged and kissed him. A bruise, or swelling under the eye, was visible on Modrić's face. Gazzetta dello Sport writes that Modrić will undergo detailed medical examinations today to determine the severity of the injury.
