During the recording of an episode of the "SmartLess" podcast, Hill explained why he and his wife, Olivia Millar, left Los Angeles three years ago to move to a small town in San Diego.

"My wife is here. My best friend. Hello to my beautiful wife, Liv," the actor said.

After addressing his wife, Hill described their current living situation.

"I live in a small town in San Diego, and it's incredible. My neighbors are amazing people. When we had our first child, we moved there. I wanted to leave Los Angeles and raise the kids here," he said.

Hill emphasized that he now has "cool" neighbors.

"They never treat me weirdly, nor do they ask me about work or anything else. My neighbor is one of my great friends, Dr. Sean, and he has never bothered me," he said.

He also reflected on growing up in Los Angeles.

"I grew up here. Los Angeles was a cool place to grow up in the '90s because you could skateboard downtown, sneak into a movie premiere, go to a comedy club, and see Chris Rock or something like that. You had access to showbiz stuff, but you also had access to punk, skateboarding, graffiti, and all the mischievous things. It was great," he said.
