The most responsible for the victory of the Bosnian champion was Fahrudin Melić with ten goals scored, while Diano Ćeško added eight. Among the guests, as many as 13 players registered on the scorers' list, with Bence Krakovszki being the most effective with four goals.

The Hungarian team opened the match better and had a three-goal lead in the early phase of the game (2:5). Izviđač fought back midway through the first half and took the lead, going into the break with a score of 17:16 in favor of the home team.

The Scouts continued their good performance in the second half, at one point holding a four-goal advantage (25:21), but the guests managed to halve that lead in the final stretch and ended the match with a final deficit of two goals.

The return match will be played on Friday in Tatabánya.
