Namely, the actors from the film "The Devil Wears Prada," as well as its sequel of the same name—Anne Hathaway, Meryl Streep, Emily Blunt, and Stanley Tucci—appeared on the exclusive SiriusXM Front Row show hosted by Andy Cohen.

Cohen (57) asked Blunt whether it was frightening to work with the 76-year-old Streep.

"I think, with the first one, I was pretty scared because I felt like she was in some kind of zone. She was in Miranda's zone. She wasn't unapproachable, but we could come and tell her a funny story, and she wouldn't laugh in that extraordinary way I usually hear," Blunt said.

Streep confirmed that she was focused on the work. Cohen then asked Streep if it was difficult for her to get into character.

"No. The first three days, I hovered around the camera with the director, and then we would shoot a scene, and I would say, 'You know, this…,' and they would react to it. It was like I stepped back a bit, as a kind of authority," Streep shared.

Additionally, Streep mentioned that she recently spoke with actress and director Greta Gerwig about the problem of being too methodical in acting.

"She was saying the same thing. You know, they kind of don't want you at the party with the actors, right? Like you have to have a little barrier to feel like the boss and to succeed. I don't know what it was, but it worked. When I came back and I was miserable in my trailer, and I heard them all in the makeup trailer, and everyone was having a great time," Streep explained.

The sequel, which hits theaters on May 1, follows Miranda Priestly as she navigates her career amid the decline of traditional magazine publishing.
