Over the past months, Bjelašnica has once again confirmed its status as one of the leading winter destinations in the region. The mountain was visited by more than 200,000 skiers, with over 1.5 million ski lift rides recorded.
This Olympic Center also earned the title of the first ski resort to open the season this year, as well as the last to close it.
In addition to domestic skiers, the season was marked by numerous tourists and visitors from abroad, further confirming Bjelašnica's growing attractiveness on the international tourism map.
Throughout the winter, a series of sports and promotional events were organized, with the FIS Europa Cup standing out as a particular point of pride for the Olympic Center Bjelašnica.
Night skiing was also available to visitors, further enriching the offerings and extending guests' stays on the mountain.
"Special emphasis this season was placed on developing skiing among the youngest, as evidenced by the large number of ski schools and children on the slopes, in line with this year's campaign by the Olympic Center Bjelašnica," the Center stated.
As a symbolic conclusion to a successful season, Bjelašnica is organizing the third "Sabah Ski" event tomorrow, which has once again generated great interest among early skiing enthusiasts. The six-seater chairlift, Heliodrom, and Kotlovi ski lift will be operational starting at 5:00 AM.
Ahead of the official season closing, all skiers and visitors will be offered free skiing on May 1st, as the Olympic Center Bjelašnica aims to thank all guests for their trust and support throughout the winter.
"The Olympic Center Bjelašnica has already begun preparations for the upcoming summer season, with the goal of further enhancing the content and offerings for all visitors. On this occasion, we thank all guests for their trust, visits, and continuous support during the winter season," they stated.
