Speaking about the alliance, Bennett said the movement would be the most Zionist and patriotic act ever undertaken by anyone in Israel. On the first day of the new government under my leadership, a state commission of inquiry into the October 7 massacre will be established to bring the truth to the families and provide answers to all the people of Israel," he stated. He further said that this bloc would unite around the Jewish people regardless of ideology. On the other hand, Lapid stressed that Israel must change its political direction. "The State of Israel must change direction. This is a test of our leadership—and we will pass it. What you see here today is the first step. We are here because this country needs unity as much as it needs air to breathe. Today, we are uniting to win the elections and establish a Zionist government, strong and stable. A partnership between the center and the right, between the religious and the secular, between the north and the south—without avoiding conscription and without extremism," Lapid concluded.
